Our Point of View

Rooted in Melitta Baumeister's signature tension between utilitarian function and architectural form, these wide-leg culottes command presence through sheer volume and considered detail. Cut from a dense, smooth fabric that holds its dramatic A-line shape, they sit at the high waist and fall to a cropped length that reads as neither pant nor skirt — an intentional ambiguity central to the label's design language. A sculptural zip-fastened bubble pocket breaks the clean face of the fabric, turning a practical element into a focal point of tactile and visual contrast.
