Our Point of View

Rendered in a deep, smoked charcoal, this cardigan distills Issey Miyake's lifelong pursuit of pleating into something quietly architectural — the radiating fan pleats cascade from the back yoke like a sculptural relief, giving the piece an organic, almost geological presence. The permanently pleated polyester moves with the body rather than against it, draping effortlessly and springing back without a crease.
