Our Point of View

A radical reimagining of the ankle boot, this collaboration between Comme des Garçons and John Fluevog fuses avant-garde fashion with heritage shoe craft. The upper is rendered in smooth black leather that drapes with an almost second-skin softness, while the exaggerated platform sole — carved into an architectural wedge with a dramatic negative-space cutout beneath the heel — elevates the silhouette into the realm of wearable sculpture. Equal parts provocative and precise, it is a boot that demands attention from the ground up.
