Our Point of View
Conceived as a study in sculptural tension, this all-black georgette pinafore transforms yards of featherlight fabric into a cascading architecture of ruched folds — each gather catching the light differently as the body moves. The deep, unbroken noir lends the piece an austere drama that is unmistakably Comme des Garçons, while the fluid drape of the woven georgette ensures a softness that belies its structural ambition. Worn alone or layered, it reads as both armour and poetry.
