Our Point of View

Characteristic of Yohji Yamamoto's fluid approach to construction, this piece abandons the conventional in favour of cascading, cape-like layers that fall away from the body. Cut from a fluid, matte fabric with a soft hand, it moves with an unstudied grace, each fold shifting the silhouette as the wearer does. A study in volume and shadow, it's a considered statement in the label's signature all-black language.
