Our Point of View

A testament to Junya Watanabe's mastery of deconstruction, this knit vest transforms the waistcoat silhouette into a study in deliberate contradiction. Fragments of herringbone, houndstooth, boucle, sequin, and pinstripe cloth are hand-applied across the body in an irregular patchwork composition, each patch raw-edged and intentionally misaligned. Worn over a shirt or layered beneath a coat, it carries the restless creative energy that defines the Junya Watanabe MAN canon.
