Our Point of View

Rendered in a deep charcoal and black colourway, these trousers draw from the ancient Japanese kasuri dyeing tradition, translating its characteristic blurred, irregular motifs into a contemporary jacquard weave of striking graphic complexity. The abstract patchwork of tonal grey and obsidian panels lends an almost painterly quality to the cloth, shifting subtly under different light. Generously cut with a pleated front and wide, straight-falling leg, they move with an effortless ease that bridges tailoring and avant-garde sensibility.
