Born from Issey Miyake's enduring mastery of technical pleating, the Tubular Pleats dress transforms a single engineered fabric into a sculptural second skin. The signature micro-pleats run diagonally across the body, creating fluid movement and natural elasticity that requires no lining and little care. A dramatic foldover bodice drapes over the chest while wide square straps anchor the silhouette, finishing with an asymmetric hem that gives the piece its distinctive, off-kilter tension.
