Our Point of View

Rooted in me Issey Miyake's signature obsession with three-dimensional fabric engineering, the Shrink Stripe Dress transforms a single black knit into a study of rhythmic texture and sculptural form. The proprietary shrink treatment gathers the fabric into dense horizontal ridges that move organically with the body, creating a silhouette that is simultaneously structured and fluid. Ruffle detailing at the collar, cap sleeves, and hem hem completes the piece with a softly dramatic finish that needs nothing more to make its mark.
