Our Point of View

A signature expression of me Issey Miyake's mastery of pleating technology, the Starfish top transforms a richly textured jacquard into wearable sculpture. The all-over oceanic motif — starfish, sea coral, and tropical fronds rendered in warm amber against deep black — is woven directly into the fabric's dimensional surface, so the pattern shifts subtly with every movement. Cut with a high turtleneck and a relaxed, cap-sleeved silhouette, it pairs effortlessly with tailored trousers or wide-leg pants for a look that is both graphic and refined.
