Our Point of View

Rendered in a vivid cerulean turquoise that evokes the clarity of open water, this August release distils Issey Miyake's mastery of pleating into a single, sculptural diamond form. The micro-pleated polyester yields a surface that is simultaneously structured and fluid — cool and featherlight against the skin, yet dramatic in the way it catches and diffracts light as it moves. Draped over the shoulders or wound loosely at the neck, it transforms any silhouette with effortless, artful ease.
