The Freshman skirt from Sultry Virgin reinterprets the classic tailored midi through a deconstructed lens — pairing a fine grey gingham suiting fabric with an exposed yellow knit waistband that deliberately disrupts the polished silhouette. Delicate star embroidery trails down one side of the skirt alongside a cursive 'Baby Angel' script, lending a whimsical, hand-personalised quality to an otherwise sharp, structured shape. Worn with a fitted knit or a crisp shirt, it occupies the space between schoolgirl nostalgia and sharp contemporary dressing.
