Our Point of View

Junya Watanabe takes the language of hard labour and elevates it into something quietly extraordinary. These straight-cut jeans are rendered in a heavily washed selvedge-style cotton denim, treated to achieve an authentically aged patina — complete with paint splatter marks, honeycombed creasing at the thighs, and uneven fading that reads less as distressing and more as a life genuinely lived. The result is a garment that arrives already broken in, worn with the confidence of a piece that has nothing left to prove.
