Our Point of View

A conceptual convergence of three headwear archetypes, the Wire Bucket Beret from Open YY merges the relaxed fullness of a beret crown with the downward-swept brim of a bucket hat, anchored by a horizontal wire strap that traces the hat's circumference for an architectural, deconstructed effect. Cut from a soft, matte fabric with tonal panel stitching, the piece carries the label's signature interest in recontextualising utilitarian forms through a considered, fashion-forward lens — equally at home as a statement accent or a quiet finishing touch to a monochromatic ensemble.
