A meditation on tension and volume, this Comme des Garçons Homme Plus jacket subverts the conventions of tailoring through dramatically gathered and ruched panels that cascade across the body from shoulder to hem. Cut from a dense, structured polyester heavy kersey, the fabric provides enough weight to give the sculptural ruching a living, architectural quality — shifting with each movement. The result is a piece that sits between couture experiment and wearable garment, entirely at home in the label's tradition of deconstructed formal dressing.
