Rendered in a soft ivory, this A-POC Basket Cardigan embodies Issey Miyake's philosophy of fabric as architecture — the open-knit diamond mesh drapes with an airy weightlessness while the sculptural gathered sleeves introduce a quietly dramatic volume. Born from the A Piece of Cloth concept, the garment is engineered as a continuous textile form, its structure emerging organically from the knit itself rather than traditional construction. Worn open over a slip or layered beneath a tailored coat, it occupies the rare space between artisanal craft and wearable sculpture.
