Rendered in a deep, oceanic navy, the Coast dress embodies Issey Miyake's enduring philosophy that clothing should move with the body rather than constrain it — the micro-pleated polyester ripples and shifts with every gesture, catching light across its sculptural cocoon form. The voluminous sleeves taper into fitted cuffs while the tulip hem pools gracefully at the knee, creating a silhouette that is at once architectural and effortlessly fluid. Lightweight enough to be folded flat yet designed to spring back into perfect shape, it transitions seamlessly from cultural outings to evening affairs.
